In April I was called by the Empire Advantage MasterCard Program. They said that there was a one time only start up fee for $99. I applied for the card.
I decided that I shouldn't get the card so I called the Florida National Processing Center at 8:00 in the morning and cancled. I was told that I woulndn't be charged the $99.
A few weeks later I noticed that my checking account was off with my banks records. I got a report and found that Advantage MasterCard had taken $99.
I called the national processing center and told them that I had canceled, I had never recieved the Master card and that I was charged. The lady told me that she would write a report to the executives and that I would be re-emburst.
I called back a few days later and I was told that I would have the money put back in my account on September first.
I called a couple weeks later and I was told that they didn't deal with this program anymore and that I'd have to call a number that they didn't have. They don't give their number to customers.
A few weeks later I got a letter telling my to write to Executive Council of Empire Advantage MasterCard in Santa Barbare, California.
I wrote them and I haven't heard from them yet.
I've gone through a lot of trouble being short $99. I'm getting through collage and I want my $99 back. I also, feel like they owe me more.
