Platinum Benefits Services is a ripoff... They promise to send you a visa and mastercard both with $5,000 credit limits to help people rebuild their credit. They charge you a fee of $229 and debit the money from your checking account. Rachel Feldman made the initial call and offered me the credit cards.
I called back after three weeks had passed on 8/30/02 (since I never received anything in the mail) and talked to Mia about cancelling my order to be processed on 9/6/02, and she assured me that the charges would not be applied. The charges did apply on 9/6/02 to my chaecking account. Then on today, 9/10/02, I could not get Mia to transfer me to Rachel or a manager so that I could get the amount credited back to my account (could not reach anyone all weekend 9/7/02 - 9/9/02).
Todd Blake called me back today, only after I gave a fake name and my cell phone number, and disconnected my call when he realized I was trying to recover the money they stole from me. I will try my best to find them and recover my money. If anyone gets a call from these or any other scammers about credit repair, just hang up!!!
