I received a letter stating that I could make $5000.00 for stuffing 1,000 envelopes. They stated that they could pay so much because they didn't want to rent extra office space and pay for insurace for other employees.
So, I sent the requested $45.00, they said it was to weed out people who were not serious so they wouldn't waste their materials. When I received an envelope I was suprised because I was expecting a box of envelopes and materials for stuffing them. So, I scanned all of the materials they sent me and sent the originals back to them with a letter demanding my money back.
About a week later I received a letter and a check for the original $45.00 back. I was as you could imagine pleased. So I took the check to the bank and deposited it. Today I went online so I could figure my checkbook and what I saw made my jaw drop...
Not only did I not get my money back but I got a returned item fee for $26.50. So I am out the initial $45.00 plus $26.50... That's $71.50 all together.
I am as you can imagine I am very upset and would like to take further action but don't know where to start.
