As the title suggests, i have actually gotten the originating company (t-mobile) to tell the debt collector that this was an error on the part of t-mobile. But they keep calling me. These people are NOT interrested in the truth, only money.
A little background. I got a call two months ago informing me that i owed this debt. I called t-mobile to find out why they went to collections without calling me first. After a bit of confusion and frustration on both ends, we came to the conclusion that there was a mix-up somewhere.
After two days the t-mobile rep figured out the the mix-up and called me to let me know that this was taken care of. I got contact info just in case. Good thing. When mitchell kay called, i passed the contact info to the rude in-duh-vidual and figure all would work itself out.
Wrong!
After the third phone call, i confrenced all of us together and had the t-mobile person explain to this moron that there was a screw-up at t-mobile and that they needed to stop harrassing me.
This did not get the point across. The next phone call the rep from mitchell kay acussed me of faking the t-mobile call! Even though she was able to answer all of his "security" questions!
If i have to sue these idiots to get them off of my back i'll have to collect lost wages for the times that i "clocked out" to chase this thing down... Wonder how deep their pockets are?
