Sadly, while trying to find US Fast Cash online the other day to contact customer service just so I could find out when my loan would be paid off (since it had been since May that I received $300 from them), I ran across this website instead and became very aware that my loan was more than likely already paid in full, and then some.
I immediately checked all of my bank statements dating back to May and realized that I had actually now paid $765 for my $300 loan! I couldn't believe that I had overlooked all of the charges. I mean, I knew they were being taken out but just not adding up in my head that I was way past paying them back with interest.
So now that I've read all of these horror stories, I'm stunned that it's still going on. How are they able to continue doing this? Someone on here has had to have sought out some legal advice. Right?
These guys that are running these companies are pieces of crap and although I may not be the person to "take them down" I believe it's all going to catch up to them sooner or later.
Here's my big question and to me the most important, to all of you who contacted your financial instituions about the fraudulent payments being stolen from your accounts... What did they do about it?
I bank at WAMU and have already informed them of what's going on but I'm not so sure that I'm going to get the money that I've already lost back. How cooperative were they in reimbursing you for these "fees" and/or "payments" that were never authorized to be taken out of your accounts?
Second, I have NOTHING even showing that I had this contract with them. No emails, faxes or anything. After reading all the other entries, is it safe to assume that I'll never see anything proving these "terms" they have set?
I just feel like I need to have something in front of me when I make this much dreaded call to them on Monday to begin my debates with them. Any suggestions on that?
