Cambridge Financial Group - Kevin Bonner - Matthew B. Prescott - Dennis Young, Laura Blakely I was promised a $85,000 loan by this company (people), but never received it. They took $5406.00 of my money and I didn't have it to give. Ripoff

I had received a phone call from a Kevin Bonner approximately at the end of May, beginning of June, whom was supposedly a Loan Representative from Cambridge Financial Group. He had said that he received my email, stating that I was in the need of some money for a loan.

I didn't really remember filling out this, but we were in need of a loan to be able to refinance our home loan, so I said yes. He asked how my credit was and I said it was pretty good, then he asked if I ever filed for bankruptcy and I told him no.

I then asked him to send me the loan information and that I would get back to him, he then stated that it would be better if he could fax it to me, so I said sure. I received the loan papers and they seemed to look fine, but I told that I wanted to think about it.

Well, he kept calling me back off and on all month long to see what I wanted to do about the loan and I told him that I wasn't sure, he then said that the offer was only going to be good until the end of the month, so that they needed to know by then or I would lose the opportunity to get it.

I asked him what I had to do in order to get the money, he said that I would have to pay an amount that was equal to 8 months of loan payments up front as a sort of security/collateral for the $85,000 loan. I then told him that I wasn't sure if I could come up with the $5375.28 for the collateral payment, he then said, well see if you can and let me know.

Towards the end of the month he called me again and asked me what I wanted to do, then he reminded me that if I didn't get it the loan would not be available after the end of the month. I asked him how did I have to send the money? Could I send a wire transfer or send it certified mail, he said no, that I needed to do a moneygram in the amount of 5300.00 plus the amount for the cost of the moneygram which was $106.00, but he then told me that I would be reimbursed for that when I received the loan.

I asked him how was I going to receive the loan, he said that they could either do a transfer to my account or send it to me, he then said that it would be better to do a transfer that way I would get the money sooner. I asked more about the moneygram and what to do. Kevin told me that I needed to send the money to a Laura Blakely in Brooks, Canada. She was the woman that was or was affliated to whomever was loaning me the money. I asked him, why Canada and he said that they had alot of companies/people who were willing to help out people that were in need of loans, because of the oil businesses that were there.

On June 30th, I went to a Walmart in Ionia, Michigan and sent the money gram to this Laura Blakely from Brooks, Canada. I was told since it was a Friday that the funds would be in my account by Monday morning. I asked if there were any problems, could I call him? He said, oh sure no problem!

Well, later that Friday night another man a Dennis Young called my phone and left a message telling me to call him back as soon as I received the message or to call him back on Saturday, because he was going to be in the office all day and that it was in regards to the loan that I was getting.

Well, I tried to call him back on Saturday and all I kept getting was the tail end of a telephone recording. Needless to say, I have never received the promised loan in the amount of $85,000 and I am out a whopping $5406.00 that I didn't have to give! I am very upset and angry! I want my money back, that money was suppose to go for the down payment to use for the refinance of my house.
