I received a call from them about a $78.00 bill from 2001. I told them i had no problem paying them but i needed something in writing (invoice/bill) As soon as i receive it i will send a check in full. They refused to send me anything and the man who called insisted that i give him either my checking account information or my credit card number. I told him i wasn't going to give out any personal info (i don't know you) over the phone.
He went on to insult me for 10 minutes and when i asked to speak to his supervisors he hung up on me and then filed with the credit bureau a "120 day late notice" which dropped my credit rating 55 points. He stated on the report that this was a new account and i had not made any payments in over 120 days. Remember this is a charge from 2. I can't get any one from that company to send me a bill in writing.
