I was charged 140 in overdraft fees for CASH deposit. Because they said it was AFTER 2:00 and they had to process it, PROCESS CASH??? I NEVER saw anything stating that CASH would be treated as a check for goodness sake its the most ridiculous and easiest way to steal consumer money! Then I had to pay 73.00 on my cell to hear them say the same ridiculous thing, that if you deposit CASH after two it isnt avail (EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS IT IS ON YOUR ACCOUNT VERY SLICK) until the next day... One min you look at your account and all is great and then next thing you know you are being charged 35.00 for 4.00 bucks: (I have had no issues with Wachovia and they have been good to me, but this is the most stupid thing I have ever seen in my life... They NEED to change the cash rule NOW and I want my 140 back for this silliness. Its silly and wrong wrong wrong... And I have seen over 300 complaints about the same stupid rule so I honestly don't think it is in the forms... Because over 300 people missed it???
Anyone who wants to file a petition to get this changed we should... Or a lawsuit or something because thats over 10,000 dollars in overdraft fees for all of the people who supposedly signed an agreement where it states that CASH which the teller can see and knows is cash without a doubt is treated like a check. I mean how much processing is needed for CASH??
