I have had a secured credit card with Orchard Bank for almost a year. The card is heavily advertised on yahoo! I paid all of my bills on time religiously.
Three months ago I called in to cancel my card, they said it was closed and my deposit would be returned soon.
After a month and a half, I have not received my deposit back. I called the bank where my money is held and they said that they had not been authorized to return my money, and they advised to call Orchard Bank.
I have called Orchard Bank several times, and every time they give me the runaround, so many excuses and say that my money will be returned soon.
It's been three months now, I'm losing hope of seeing my money again.
This company is behaving in the worse possible way, they are assuming that they have the right to keep my deposit, and will use all delaying tactics in their book so I do not get it back.
