Applied for a mortgage with Princton Mortgage 3 weeks ago. All was going fine till the day before committment was required by the seller. They requested additional tax return info, it was sent. The next day they had additional questions, and a total lack of understanding of a 1040 form. To which they said the could give us the commitment today if we give them an additional 1/2 percent on the mortgage. To which I said it felt like bate and switch, there reply was "do you want the mortgage commitment today or not".
When we called the woman who originally took the application, she again said maybe we could work this all out if you pay a higher commision. This is not good business! PRINCETON MORTGAGE CORPORATION (doing business as: " (Subsidiary of WEIDEL, RICHARD A CORPORATION, PENNINGTON, NJ)")
PENNINGTON, NJ. Weidel is who we were buying the home through and apparrently is the owner of princeton mortgage.
At this point we are at risk of loosing the house do to them not processing the mortgage application till the very last min.
