I entered, freecreditreport.com and was redirected to this site which also seemed to claim a free report. They lead you on for 3 pages of adding your personal financial info. On the last click they say, "Offer no longer available" However, you can become a member to..." There is NO CREDIT REPORT.
I called the company, they just chuckled and told me to call Consumer Affairs and hung up. I filed a complaint with C.A. Fraud department but they informed me that not much would be done - it's a Buyer beware.
I then found this site and saw all the other complaints on Privacy Matters. I immediately called my credit card co. Privacy has already charged my account FOUR times within the hour. The credit card company says there is nothing they can do.
Gotta love the "consumer protection laws we have."
