I first saw this company about Aug./Sept. 2006 on the internet when I was researching the possibility of getting a federal grant to open a business. I called the phone number provided and spoke with a woman calling herself Ashley Johnson, who explained the process. Within a couple of weeks, I had received and signed the contract and sent a certified check for $449.00.
I was told I would receive an information package that I would need to fill out and return in the next couple of weeks, but it actually took more like 10 weeks to get it. I filled it out and returned it within the week, and have since heard nothing.
It is now April and I finally decided to do something about trying to get some information or the money back. I have called three times this week. Twice, I was forced to leave a message, which, of course, no one returned.
Today, after reading a number of reports on this website about MGR Solutions, I called again and simply asked for an update on my application. I was told that the customer service department is not given that kind of information and that a manager would give me a call within two days (5-10 days at the most) to give me an update.
Having read those other reports, this is exactly what I was expecting, but I decided to play along for now. I will continue to update this report as I have more information to share.
