Today i received an envelope in the mail stating that i have been guaranteed approval of a gold card of $15000.00 if i sent them $37.00 for at first it was stated in the letter as a membership fee and at the end of the letter it was stated as a standard processing fee which is it? Who cares it's quite clearly a scam. I have good credit and credit cards and have never been approached in this manner to receive a credit card.
I went a step further and called information and got there phone number and when i called it was a recording that stated it was there membership services department and was only open monday thru friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Well for the record all my credit cards have some sort of 24 hour services. One last thing to note it is a scam, when you go online and there is no information given about the company at all and that when i clicked on the box for members already it conviently brought up a box stating it was not able to access it. It saddens me that people out there pray on others who are for one reason or another are down on there luck. They should be more careful to whom they send things to as i immediately check out everything before sending my hard earned money to anyone. So please anyone out there who has received this acceptance certificate as they call it "beware". I don't know exactly what this company does but i really don't think they give out gold cards for credit amounts of $15000.00 to people without even asking for your ssn or work info etc. I much rather be out a dollar or so for a phone call than $37.00 for a so called credit card!!!
