Took out a $300 dollar payday loan out of desperation to pay my car insurance on time.
Taken from www.tendollarpaydayloan.com, but I suspect they have many other aliases.
Mycashnow
paydaytoday etc
They wer to take $30 per month iof renewing and/or paying off.
First month $30 Ok.
Second month they overdrew my account by trying 3 times to get $30,60 and then 90 dollars in the same day.
This cost me $90 in bank charges then after I received a letter staing I needed to pay the balance they did this again and again 2 more times.
Now my useless checking account is overdrawn $1000 and I can not close it and most of it is OD chargers.
I believe banks are also at fault for allowing this activity to snowball without stopping it and notifying the cutomer.
MTE is evil and I will file complaints with the PA attorney general, the BBB as well as try to get a class action lawsuit going.
Beware of all PAYDAYLOANS.
They were OK at first but have become extremely predatory.
