I admit to getting behind on my loan payments but had contacted ocwen and they agreed if I wrote a letter of explanation and sent them the amount past due, I would not lose my house. I did such and still have copies of everything. The legal department refused everything except the money. I received the notice of forclosure and to save my credit I quit claimed the deed to my son, who immediately refinanced at a new bank. At that time I had about 30,000 equity in a home I had for 18 years. The new bank supposed paid off everything including attorney fees. I recently refinanced my current home and found out Ocwen had on my credit I still owed a balance of $11,000. I contacted them in Texas this time and they informed me it was legal fees. I told them they had been paid at time of closing. The bank that my son used also paid back taxes of $2500.00 which I kept saying was wrong, but I had no idea of where to turn to prove this. I could not get any cooperation from Ocwen.
