Someone named "Carrie" at Alliance One has been calling all of my relatives, leaving messages.
She even called my stepdad's parents in the Nursing Home, several times in one evening, asking "Why can't you go over there right now and tell her to call me?" My stepdad's father said, "Lady, I'm 85- I can't even walk!" She told my mother she will not stop calling, even though my mother told her we had settled the debt with Capitol One.
After reading other complaints here, today I registered a complaint at ftc. Gov and I my debt settlement agency recommened I fill out a complaint form at the attorney general's office for my state, which I did.
They are also sending them a cease and desist. I wish I ahd their fax number to fax them a cease and desist. Those numbers should be published.
