Dropped auto ins. With out us knowing, raised rates due to auto accident caused by State of LA. Changing roadways & signals, and lied about late payment history when VP told us to mail on due date

Just like another report from Dale in California, we were ripped off by Automobile Club Inter-Insurance Co. Due to being rearended 8/6/06 by a man with no auto insurance (using uninsured motorists coverage), and hit again on 8/8/06, and at no fault. The Causeway Commission, a State Ageny, caused my accident on 08/11, when they changed the roadways at the end of the 24 mile bridge, making signal light shorter (www.thecauseway.com) gives you proof, I hit a man, due to changes and Automobile Club Inter-Insurance Co. Holds me at fault. The Causeway Commission, a State Agency did not advertise by television or newspaper to the general public about these changes. A Missouri Ins.Co. Doing business in other states does not care. Atuomobile Club Inter-Insurance Co. Holds this against us, as well as, their VP, Mr. Bob Schieber informing us to mail payment on due date (although he tries to say he approved this 1 time), he did not say 1 time to me, therefore, I mailed on due date for a long period of time, and they blame me for my late payment history. Also a Customer Care Rep. Told me over phone, "if you have mailed your payment, you have nothing to worry about". My agent calls me and wants over $600 on 09/13/06, informing us that we had no auto insurance coverage since 08/30/06, and we knew nothing about it. I did as they said, then I contact La. State Ins. Commissioner, Mr. Warren Byrd, attorney, who advises me, that he would help by not allowing them to place us in a higher tier bracket, looking into the $500 due on 10/27/06, and concerning the late payment history, actually caused by their company's employee, Mr. Schrieber. Now the Louisiana DMV is on us for them dropping us on 08/30-09/13, which we knew nothing about. Automobile Club Inter-Insur.Co. Is raising one policy from $1,208.00 to $1,859.00, a difference of $438.56 per yr., and the other policy from $515.00 to $886.00, which is an additional $809.52 per year for auto ins. They are charging me for 08/11 accident, due to State Highway changes, and blaming us and holding us responsible for their VP, Mr. Schrieber informing us to mail payment on due date. State of Louisiana Insurance Employee, Mr. Warren Byrd, Attorney and his Examiner, Ms. Oneka Hamp is informing us (after I met with them on 10/26/06-and they informed me that they would take care of this), that they have no jurisdiction over insurance companies. Who controls them in that case? I gave my total S/S Disability Check for over $600 to Automobile Club Inter-Ins.Co. On 09/13/06 and was told by my Insurance Agent, Parish National Insurance in Slidell, La. That I owed no payment until November. We get bills due on 10/27/06 for $368.48 and $182.75. State of La.ins. Dept. Has copy of these bills, and Mr. Warren Byrd informed me that he would take care of this, and I should not owe this. $1100 in 2 months for auto insurance. This Company is a RIP OFF. I spoke to Mr. Johnson, CEO, Mr. Carl Kraft, Automobile Club Inter-Insur.Co. Attorney-who wrote a letter about me, not knowing if it is true and correct. Mr. Bob Schrieber, who told me what to do and we did that-and they blame us for the late credit history, and Mr. Mahoney, who also was told what to do by Mr. Schrieber. Just like Dale, we have been taken advantage of by the American Club Inter-Insurance Exchange. It is pitiful, after contacting big executives and officials of an insurance company (richest industry in the world) and they get away by taking advantage of Americans. Anyone needing assistance with this company, I will be happy to talk to them. It is time that Congress control Insurance Companies and not individual states. I will contact them, as well.

You may contact me thru *@*.com by leaving your e-mail address, phone number and I will be of some help and assistance, if possible.

Thank you for rip off reports like this and whoever made it possible.
