I never activated my they ripped off my checking account

I foolishly signed up for their card. However when i recieved the materials in the mail i realized what a ripoff it was and i never activated my account in the terms and conditions it is worded so that you believe that you have to activate your account for any billing to continue, however they charged my account that didn't exist a maintenance fee of $14
