I would like to know how a company can get your house appraised for $45,000 more than it's actual value but not tell you? I didn't find out until we went to refinance with them again, like we were told we could after 2 years and have the house reappraised and it comes back with that much of a difference and on top of that in those 2 years we put $19,000 into the house which means they ripped us off for a total of $64,000 and guess what? They can't help us refinance because we owe $7,000 more than what the new appraisal came in at. So now, as of Nov 1 our payment goes up almost another $200 per month and then they can raise it another $200 per month six months after that and again for a third time six months after that!!! AMC will not talk to me nor admit that they scammed me but it's all in black and white. I signed up for a lawsuit against Ameriquest I want to say about a year ago but I never have heard back and I don't know who to contact to find out if we were included in that $325 Million lawsuit that was won? On top of it all no other company will touch us for refinacing because AMC did such a number on us!!! Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated...
