I recently sought to by a newer car from Gosh Toyota in Hemet Ca. We had not reached an agreement, so I told them I didn't want the car, because they would not take my present car in trade. I owed a ballance on my car. I also said I didn't want to use Americredit, because of past dealings with them. They said they would consider my car as a trade in and try to find another lender. I waited three days for the results.in the mean time I got a call from Americredit thanking me for selecting them in buying my 2004 Nission Sentra.
I went back to Gosh Toyota and asked them what was going on. They said Americredit accepted the contract. I reminded them that they still hadn't taken my car as a trade and I didn't want Americredit. They then said they would cancel the deal.
I signed a release form to D.M.V. They (Gosh toyoda) tld me This would noe effect my credit nor show up as a repo. This took place June 19. This Aug. I went to buy a truck from another dealer and he asked me about my 2004 Nission. I told him what happened.
He remarked, "well it shows here that you still have it and you made a payment in July. I assure you (a) I don't have that Nisson nor did I make a payment on it.
