My daughther and I ORDERED CREDIT ON THE INTERNET THROUGH New Millenium Bank. They sent my daughter an application for a pre-paid visa credit card.
We sent New Millenium Bank back the application along with 29.99 processing fee and another 10.00 to add me to the account.
Today August31 my daughter received a letter from New Millenium Bank stating that we were approved.
They also required that she send more information about herself and me. And for us to send a minimum of $300.00 or maximum of$5000.00 payable to New Millenium Bank for a savings account in my daughters name. After that we were to receive our credit cards.
I went to my bank today August 31 and found out that I had insufficient funds for the amount I was trying to withdraw out of my checking account. I went inside my bank and the worker showed me a copy of a check dated July 24 for $159.95 paid to EDP CARD. Memo stated visa acclaim card 1-800-430-0672 Order number 2631240 and Confirmation 1758654.
And where I should have signed the check it said PRE-AUTHORIZED CHECK No Signature Required.
Also on the other side of the check it says Deposit To The Account Of The Payee. At the bottom I can see First Citizens Bank 100 E Tryon RD Raleigh NC 61353110.
I am ver outraged that someone can do this to someone I want my money back A.S.A.P.
