Ripoff Excessive interest and fees

I called on my fiances account from a gym membership that was cancelled. We had no idea we even owed money to that stupid gym. They sent the $63 bill to the Credit Bureau of South Florida. When I wen to pay it off, they wanted more than $120.00 to clear it up. The next day I called them regarding my DirecTV account for $178.00. This account went into collections in May. I called them today, June 29th to pay it off, They want $299.95. That is ridiculous. They are just trying to make a dollar and not giving us the opportunity to pay the original debt. They are ripoffs...
