Honey Jones, doing business as United Capital Investments, ripped me off so now my financial issues are compounded by the 1,175 I wasted dealing with these criminals.
I filled out an online application with a loan finder service. Approximately 3 days later, I received a called from United Capital Investments stating that my loan request had been approved. When I called back, I was informed that the transaction was going to be a secure loan and I needed to pay 749.40 to secure the loan. I wired the funds via Western Union as instructed on May 31. I then called Honey Jones and gave her the money transfer number. Within 1 hour, the funds had been picked up. I then faxed them a copy of the e-mail verification of them picking up the funds. I spoke to Ms. Jones again that day at 2:10 PM who assured me everything was in order and that the loan amount would be in my bank account by 6 PM on May 31. Of course, no funds were deposited on May 31. I called them on June 1 and was told by Honey Jones that I did not receive the funds because they were coming from an offshore lender (Caymans Islands) and that I need to pay a funds acquisition fee of $450. I completed that transaction via the Western Union Website while on the phone with Ms. Jones. Again, I was promised that funds would be deposited by 6 PM on June 1. As of today, June 9 at 0950 hours I have not received the promised loan.
Moreover, since I made the acquisition payment on June 1, I have not been able to get the elusive Ms. Jones on the phone. When I do get through to an actual person on the phone they are abrupt and rude and hang up while I am in mid sentence.
On June 7, I filed a complaint regarding United Capital Investments and their fraudulent activities with the New York State Attorney General's office and the Texas State Attorney General's Office.
If there is ever a class action suite against this gang of criminals, please count me in!
