10 years ago my husband and I bought a car. It started giving us trouble so we traded it in for another car. Now this was 10 years ago we have bought 4 other cars sence then.
Just the other day I received a phone call from this company regarding our Nissan account. I explain to the lady that we gave the car back as a repo because the nissan company refuse to allow the warranty to fix the problem.
She explained to me that we we're still responsiable for this bill because the dealership didn't get what we paid for for the car so they wanted us to pay the remaining balance.
I bought a new car 3/06 and the nissan repo was not on my credit or my husbands. I don't know why these people keep calling trying to settle something 10 yrs ago.
I asked the company to send me a bill of sale of the vehicle that we gave back as a repo. Just any info on this account and the lady said they don't provide that kind of info there just a dept collection agancy.
