Frank Delatorre painted a very pretty picture that it would be no problem obtaining re-financing for my home. He was certain that our home would appraise at a much higher value. (Although, with our first conversation I explained what the houses in our area were selling for).
When the appraisal came back it was for 150k (exactly what I told him at the beginning would be the max). He told me (as if he was really giving me helpful information) that the homes in our area were selling for 140k-155k. Again, exactly what I had told him during our first conversation.
They don't care if you have to take-off work or waste time and money attempting to help the appraisal value. Do not waste your time with these snakes. I know used car dealers with more integrity than them.
