I refinanced my mortgage with the same firm and closed on 1/4/06. I was provided with a coupon with the 1st payment due on 3/1 of $1131.16 which was disbursed and received on 3/2/06. (I have an image of this check). On 3/27 I received a statement that the 3/1 payment was not received so I paid it again to keep my credit record in order, to follow up on the check later. At the time Washington Mutual charged me a $12.00 fee for paying via the phone.
At the beginning of April, I made an April 1 payment still following up on the missing payment. The April payment instead of being $1131.16 was $1173.09, which I paid.
I've made 3 attempts to reconcile this with them... Twice they disconnected me after being on a phone tree forever; the 3rd time I was transferred to a manager who stated I had to snail mail them another letter. They didn't cash my check after receiving it for nearly a month. Why should I believe they're any more dilgent with complaints?
I just want my money back; their service is very rude and I'd like to see someone do something about it. I'll never do business with them again.

I want my money back. They're fortunate I don't charge them interest for nearly 30 days. Sounds like a great money making scheme for them, and I see they have had a number of complaints.
