I am posting my STA Retail (Success Through Advertising) complaint here to hopefully create awareness for others before they get ripped off by STA retail formerly YMMSS and its owner - operator Kim Inman.
STA retail a.K. A YMMSS (Your Money Machine Success System) was the website/business name that I joined under in 2004.
I searched Google for information on Kim Inman and YMMSS prior to joining YMMSS and found mostly postive feedback from the YMMSS members themselves. This is why I decided to give Mr Inman and the YMMSS STA opportunity a try.
The same searches for STA retail and Kim Inman today will yield far less positive praise for STA/Inman to say the least.
At the time I joined YMMSS (now STA) I bought into the premise that I could purchase 'valuable' electronic posting credits a.K. A EPC's in which I could advertise other services, products, and business opportunities to fellow YMMSS members.
These EPC's (the product) could be purchased in $10.00 increments - (as many as one wished) and YMMSS Owner Kim Inman stated on his website that EPC's would 'cycle' in effect doubling the intial $10.00 investment in 90 days while also providing the relatively cheap form of valuable advertising.
Over a short period I purchased 19 EPC's @ $10.00 ($190.00 total) of 'advertising' and believed that my little ten dollar EPC purchases would continue to 'cycle' thereby doubling my original purchase amount ad infinitum (as originally promised.)
Members (it was clearly stated) could effectively create a lifetime residual income simply by 're investing' EPC values into the YMMSS cycling system. Either by pouring more money in or simply allowing for the automatic re purchase option or some combination of both..
My only requirement to YMMSS was to read fellow member posts/advertising which at the time I joined was based upon an 'honor system' (bizarre yes I know..)
Early on I discovered that these EPC's held little real value when a technical glitch prevented me from posting my advertisements in the advertising forums. I solicted help via the YMMSS helpdesk and was told that 'accumulating posting credits was not such a bad thing!'
This non professional response by the helpdesk was a HUGE red flag and essentially conveyed the message 'don't worry about it enjoy the ride while your money multiplies' or at the very least giving the impression that the advertising credits I bought had no real monetary value making YMMSS in my opinion a classic matrix - doubler scheme.
Matrix marketing - different than traditional MLM - a bit more clever (reads deceptive) but essentially it's the get in early or lose mentality - just like any other pyramid scheme.
It was at that time I stopped purchasing advertising credits but still held out hope that I would be able to double my very little $190.00 'investment' as promised.
I have since learned more about Ponzi schemes, doublers and matrix - mlm like schemes which I now believe YMMSS/STA to be..
I have never received a dime for my $190.00 cash outlay and do not expect to as YMMSS holds a no refund policy. The fact is I believe I have been effectively scammed and 'ripped off.'
Recently received an inflated US 1099 form for misc.income that I 'earned' from (you guessed it) YMMSS STA Retail even though I have never benefited or received a dime in income or other compensation from them!
Since doing my own investigating re: STA retail/YMMSS I have found through sites like matrixwatch http://www.matrixwatch.org / that MANY good people are now finding themselves in this same boat, some of them (and their families) are out THOUSANDS of dollars and likewise receiving dummied up US 1099 forms for monies they (like me) will most certainly never see.
Believe it or not. My posting here is only the short version. As I stated earlier - I am posting to hopefully make others aware of these dirty dealings before they throw away good money in this ponzi/matrix/doubler scheme like I did.
I have not posted my real first name or location here because YMMSS is taking a strong stand against members who are 'complaining to much' another sure sign of them 'circling the wagons.
I am still considered 'active'in STA/YMMSS in although I am very much NOT active and certainly do not recommend YMMSS/STA to ANYONE. I would be happy and look forward to hearing from others both good or bad regarding YMMSS - STA Retail.
Please be aware however that if you are one of those first in heavy hitters that made alot of money on the backs of people like myself I will see through you like ice.

You might like to follow up on Kim Inman, Belize City, Belize who apparently also holds investments in the good ole United States as well. You will find lots of extemely unhappy people more than ready and EAGER to talk with you.
To any shark lawyers who might like to take on as class action we are apparently talking 'millions' in ill gotten gains... And lots of other 'actors' in which to go after - Some of which reside in the US...
Please be advised - You certainly find STA/YMMSS faithful who resemble Jim Jones followers in their zeal (ya just gotta believe!) and you'll all get paid any day now - just be patient!
