We are based in Minnesota, and completed two closings for Elite Signing Services, (in 2005). The closings were completed, and status was submitted as required.
We have yet to receive payment for these closings, and have contacted the title company, (first american equity loan services) who hired Elite signing. They said that they had paid Elite signing in advance for closings to be completed, but shortly after, Elite went out of business.
We'd also like to mention, that Elite signing Services, has very harsh penelties for not following guidelines for status submission, and follow-up. ESS (elite Signing Servies) will deduct $10.00 per hour for not receiving your tracking information by 9 am cst. We heard horror stories from other notaries about ESS claiming to have not received the tracking number from them, and deducting their entire fee!
