I had applied for a personal loan to consolidate my bills and had average credit, no recent problems and had a tough time getting financed. I was referred to Cash Call by another lender and they did approve me for the amount of $2600. I signed the loan documents as I needed the loan quite badly. After reading the paperwork I realized I had just signed to an 89.90% apr. The total ammount the credit would cost me would be $5,884.11 for a grand total of $8,409.11
It seems to me that they take advantage of people who need their help despeately and get them into even more debt. I was able to rescind, as they did not give me the money yet. Had I agreed to these terms their contract states you can not take legal action against them. Also you can not get out of the loan. Also if you default on a payment, the total amount is due and payable at that time. This is complete highway robbery, I don't know how they sleep at night, and I am outraged that Legalized Loan Sharking is avialable in today's society!
