I received this letter in the mail stating that I was "guaranteed approval for a capital choice consumer credit platinum CREDIT CARD with a credit line of $5,000." What it should say is Capital Choice Consumer Credit Platinum "MEMBERSHIP CARD" because that is what it is. You don't get a real credit card. Even the Card says: Premium Merchandise Card!!! These guys are so full of BS, they are such ripoffs.
They gave me a Customer Service number to call:
Everyone ar Capital Choice Consumer Credit is dedicated to providing you with our total commitment to personal service. B.S.B.S.B.S.B.S.!!! I called this number (800) 874-9164 for a week and it had a busy signal everytime.
I also received "extra packages" from other companies, like a phone card service and a roadside assistance program. They try to charge me too.
Anyway, I called the number that was on my bank statement, (888) 797-8137, and they knew I wanted to cancel and try to get my money back, so they sent me to this number: 800-803-4174 which the girl on the phone said was their corporate office. Whatever, it is just a call center that answers the phones... I talked to a girl "Betty" who started to have an attitude with me... She told me that if I didn't even use the card, that the account would be cancelled. I made sure she gave me a cancellation number, and even asked to get something on paper that says my account had been cancelled, but she said their company doesn't do anything like that.
To make things short, if you were ripped off by this company, call the number: 800-803-4174 hopefully you can get more help than I did.
Also, their thank you letter wasn't even signed!!!
