First National Collection Bureau, Inc
Disregarding a federal bankruptcy charge!

I also want to participate in a class action suit against First National Collection Bureau Inc. Because they are violating my bankruptcy discharge!

My bankruptcy was discharged on 4/22/04. This debt was specifically listed in my Schedule F. After my bankruptcy discharged I contacted the three major credit bureaus and individually for each account requested update to reflect 'discharged in bankruptcy'. I supplied the bureaus with copy of the schedules and copy of the discharge and identified each debt as numbered them. For TransUnion, the debt was represented by Spirit of America National Bank who updated my bureau on 12/04. On my Experian Report the item was represented by Fashion Bug/SOANB and was updated on 2. However, on Equifax even though the item was represented by the same as Experian the source refused to remove the item saying 'current status is being reported correctly. Additional information has been provided from the original source regarding this item." So this item was notified of bankruptcy at least 4 times.

Then I got a letter from First National Collection Bureau, Inc. Dated September 21 on this same debt. Their response to my phone call to clear the issue was aggressive and immediately and overtly taunting. I am a mother whose child just died on June 9th to acute encephalomyelotitis and I have ongoing struggles with the State of Michigan and the Centers for Disease Control in researching and validating her death. I am a very fragile person right now and having to deal with this on top of the real stuff in my life, left me shaking internally yesterday. It is wrong for this company to harass me and I am not going to put up with it.
