I received a call on 10/05 telling me of this great offer that I was eligable for. I said yes and gave all requirewd information to start processing my credit card while I went on line and looked them up. When I got on line I discovered a list of consumer complaintss longer than my right arm.
At this time I instructed the salesperson to halt in the process of my application and that I was no longer interested. I had yet to go through the verbal (recorded) authorization process. The salesperson informed me that even though I had not given the verbal approval through the recorded message system, I could not now stop the debit process.
How is this so? I did not give the final required approval. I then called the company to make sure that I had in fact been cancelled and was told that there was no cancellation confirmation number to be given to me at this time and was promptly hung up on.
So what, are they just going to take my money wether I want them to or not?
