On May 19, Dina #011 from Oxford Financial offering an interest free credit card contacted me via my cell phone. She sounded VERY legit and professional - I would never give my information out to just anyone (thats how convincing these people are). All I had to do was pay a one-time fee of $249.00 to be taken directly from my checking account.
Of course, being a full time college student who also works 40 hours a week, I was more than willing to accept a card with the perks that this one offered - building credit, 0% interest... Too good to be true right?! Yes! This is a scam people! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND ALL OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND THEY STEEL FROM YOU.
My story is the same as the other reports of fraud against this company - the same phone numbers, the same excuses were given to me ("It will get to you in 30-40 days")... All of the stories that you are reading are from people just like me who were victims of FRAUD. I have filed complaint papers with the Attorney Generals Office and I have written a letter to my state Attorney General and I am fully inteding to file a class action suit against this company.
They gave me false information from the get go. I am furious, and I for one am not going to let them get away with this. It may ONLY be $249.00 - but multiply that by the amount of people that have been scammed by these people, and you have ALOT of money. Not to mention the fear that our personal information (ss#, mothers maden name, bank acct numbers...) these VERY DISHONEST people have all of that information. BE WARE! And don't let them get away with it!
