I fell for the hype of the Russ Dalbey America's Note Network from an email that I responded to. There was a phone number to call and I stupidly called it. I was promptly asked for a credit card to pay for the $9.95 shipping charge for the "free" materials. I thought that was somewhat resonable and sent for the "free" materials. They arrived and I never had time to read them as I became very ill. I am on disabilty as it is now and this was the reason I was looking for some way to make money online.
30 days went by and on my credit card there was a charge for $67 from America's Note Network. I wrote them an email asking what it was for and was told to call a number to get a refund. I called this number and talked to someone and was told this charge was supposed to have been disclosed to me on the phone, but never was. I was also told this fee was written on the website, but I had never seen the website.
I asked for my money to be refunded and I was refused. I told them I am on disability and had been ill and had not even read the material, or been on the website, so how was I to know of this fee? It did not matter and they refused my refund. I never would have ordered this "free" material had I known there was to be this charge later. I feel I should have been told on the phone when I ordered this that there was this fee 30 days later.
I am only asking for my $67 back and I feel I have a legitimate reason to need it back. I cannot afford this and I am extremely angry that they will not refund this.
This place is a rip off and obviously this is how they make their money. They just charge it to your credit card without your knowledge.
