I was called by Capital Choice Consumer Credit who offered me a gold credit card with a $5,000 limit for a price of $44.00. I said OK and got a catalog and a credit card with a $5,000 limit. The only problem was that it wasn't a major credit card like a Visa. I could only use this card on their overpriced catalog. So, I called to cancel which they agreed.
The trouble started when I noticed a $117.00 deduction in my checking account. I figured I will wait for my bank statement and find out what it was for. A week or so later, another charge hit, this time for $99.00.
I went running to my credit union and found out that $117.00 was under CCCC (Capital Choice Consumer Credit) and the other charge was from NCS (National Credit Shopper. I spoke with the bank manager and he had me sign an affidavit saying that I didn't authorize these charges. I also closed the checking account and opened another.
I got home after walking the dog and the phone rang. He said "sir, I am from Premier Credit Services and you have been approved for a credit card witha $5,000 limit with no credit check. I just told him that he was asking me to buy into a bucket of horse doo and hung the phone up.
So, here is the same company trying to steal from me 3 times! How can society sit back while these leeches suck the blood from our hard working money? I have bad credit and that is why they took aim at me. So, they take advantage of someone's bad situation and make it even worse. What scum bags!
