My husband and I went to ameriquest to refinance for more home improvement with cash out.
We started the process in Aug of and the loan was closed in Sept of o4. My husband had to go out on medical leave for a total knee repair and he went out from work on Sept.
Our first payment of 505.00 was due on the first of oct and he had just got all his medical information together and they would start sending his weekly checks. Well time went on and we kept getting harrassing calls from daybreak to sometime after 10:00pm.
We explained to them that as soon as we got the money we would send what was due for the loan. Well they didn't want to hear any of that and we started getting forclosure notices in nov.
We finally got his money and a payment for what was due was sent on 12-15-04, but they did not put it on our account until dec. 30. Now if anyone has dealt with western union it is supposely to be on your acct.
Well we went into march and our payment was put into suspense for. 52 cents and then was turned over to the credit bureau.
I have spoken with different people; some would give their names and others wouldn't talk about this issue and they say that there was nothing they could do because it automatic throws out payments that are not correct.
They gave us a 9.5 interest rate and then appraised our house at 86,000 and its only appraised between 60 to 65 in the area we live. The appraiser Anthony Mithelavage wrote up we even had 2 bathrooms and he only went into one.
WE thought we had a fixed rate and it is up, that it's adjustable rate and it will go up in oct of this year. These people and their company have abused and misused the trust in the american consumer because what they have done.
Now we have spoken with other agency and we filed a report with the division of finance in jefferson city, mo. I spoke with a steve Bottman 816-551-6806 and he said if was a hud loan I needed to contact them.

We just would like them to clear up this mess and get our credit report fixed where they said we were 60 days late on the mortage.
I called today about the 60 day late payments and first spoke with Jeane at 11:15am on 7-14-05 abouth the late payments and she said they didn't get the payment until dec. 30 so this made it delinquent for 60 days and I told her that I had the western union reciept that stated it was mailed on the 15 th of dec.
So I didn't get anywhere with her. So I call back and spoke with a Brenda Dixon at 1:20 pm in customer service and told her what the problem was so she told me to fax a copy to the correspondence dept and they would address this issue. When it was my turn, there was nothing they could do.

This is a very serious matter that needs to be addressed it's not only one person with these horror stories but it's hundreds. Something is very wrong.
They also added homeowners insurance on our acct but no one told them to and I faxed 2 insurance papers to them. We also had 3 letters stating our personal property tax has not been paid.
These people are crazy, and we hope they will have to stop using people for their gain.
