On May 6th I was contacted by Atlantic One and they stated that for a fee they could improve my credit score. I was also told that if I wanted to cancel to give them a call and they would be more than happy to do so. I called on Monday, May 9th, and the person I was suppose talk with was not in. I left a voice mail stating that I wanted to cancel.
When I did not hear back I call the general number and told the person that I wanted to cancel. She said she could not do that. I explained to her that I was told that I could. She said she could not do this. I informed her that I was told I could. She then became very belligerent and was yelling at me that she could do nothing and would do nothing, she said too bad. On May 13 they took the $319 out of my account. I contacted my bank and filled out an affidavit but the bank turned it down because they said Atlantic One had a recording of me signing up.
Does anyone know how to get this money back? What I know about the law is that you have 3 or 5 days to break a contract.
Anyone out there that can help?
