Integra Financial Benefits ripoff

I am a victim of Integra Financial Benefits credit card offer of "pay $249.00 for a o% interest credit card with a $2000.00 limit for three years!"
After much frustration I finally was given the address to file a written complaint. Below is a copy of the letter I sent, certified, return reciept requested. I received a receipt on 5/13/05 and it is now June 7, and my letter has not been answered. (I left out my name and address in the copy of this letter). I am willing to pursue this till they pay for fraudulent ways!

To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Janelle Freeman and I am writing this letter to formally complain. On or about February 26 I received a call from one of your companies telemarketer. The name I was given was Joseph at ext. 2002. He offered me a credit card with a $2000.00 limit with no interest for three years. I asked if the balance had to be paid every month and he responded that no it didn't, I was required to pay at least of the balance.

I found this offer to be quite unreal and asked him several times if there was some sort of catch. He assured me there was not a catch and told me how it was an opportunity for me to re-establish my credit. He told me there would be a one time fee of $249.00 to process this card. I believe I asked him several times if this was some sort of a scam and asked for his name and number and once again he assured me this was not a scam. He told me the card would arrive in the mail within 7-10 days.

I gave my checking account to him and on March 3 my account was debited $249.00. (I have a copy of this transaction that was deposited in Summit State Bank out of Santa Rosa, Ca.). I waited patiently and after about two weeks I had heard nothing or received nothing in the mail. I was beginning to believe I was an idiot for ever giving out my account number and I probably had been scammed.

I called the number I was give by Joseph and gave the customer service rep my verification number that I was told was also my activation number 2890995. The representative I talked told me it took 25 working days to receive the card. More time had passed and once again I called and was given a tracking number which I found odd since every credit card I had ever received came in the mail within 7-10 days.

Finally, I received a package in the mail which had all of these saving and discount advertisements from various companies accompanied by a letter. The letter states Your MasterCard has been ordered and you will be receiving it within 25 business days of receiving this letter. The letter further states Please fill out and sign the application enclosed and send it back as soon as possible so that we can process your card.

I was totally confused at this time because I found no application for a credit card! All that was enclosed was an application to a National Money Services, Inc. And Cash MasterCard Card that stated this is not a credit card and wanted me to send a non-refundable $39.95 processing fee to set up the card.

At this time I am pretty well livid because this was in no way the offer I was originally given!!! Now, if you cannot give me the original offer I would like a full refund deposited in my account in the same amount of time it took you to debit my account!!! Joseph totally mis represented this offer.
You should be ashamed to have employees telling the public one thing and not only sending them something totally different, but you couldn't even do it in a timely manor!!!

A prompt response would be greatly appreciated! I know that my phone conversations were recorded! Please take the time to listen to all of these recordings. It might help these people and your company to be honest in the future. I believe this comes under something known as FALSE ADVERTISING!

It is very hard to reach you during your east coast business hours when one lives on the west coast. But it was not hard for your telemarketer to reach me at my home after your business hours! If you have any other questions regarding this complaint, please feel free to call me after 5:00 P.M. West coast time Once again a prompt reply would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely.

Janelle
