I am a military wife, who stays at home with our disabled son. Since my son needs to be cared for 24/7, my husband is the sole breadwinner. Our family does struggle financially, so I thought it was a dream come true when I received a letter from Asta Publishing that would GUARANTEE $800.00 weekly. Since they described it as a work from home opportunity, it seemed perfect for me.
I mailed in $20.00 for registration and expedite fees. Approximately six weeks later, I received an envelope containing instructions for this "job." I was to xerox and mail out the EXACT SAME promotional letter that I had originally received, to hundreds of people. To obtain names and addresses of these people, I had to order a mailing list, I chose the cheapest one ($30.00).
Another four weeks later, I received the address labels, but I had to pay for all the photocopies, envelopes, and stamps out of my own pocket. I don't know if you've ever calculated, but 600 stamps is over 200 dollars!!!
Supposedly, my so-called guaranteed $800.00 was to come as a result of people on my mailing list registering with Asta. Well, I went ahead with it, and followed their instructions EXACTLY. I didn't make a single penny. This "job" made my family $300.00 poorer, and when I wrote to Asta requesting my registration fee be refunded, they ignored me.
Please do not become a part of this scam!!! Save your 20 bucks, before you end up losing 300 or more like i did!!!
