I have had trouble many times trying to get payments to HRS on time. It was a BestBuy account. I thought I was the only one with the same difficulties. However, I recently had trouble with HRS trying to pay a Rhodes same as cash deal.
The statement had $0 due and I thought no monies were due.in the small print on the bottom of the second page it said if you have a credit plan then pay by the due date which was in one day from when I received the statement. I feel they should have a bigger warning of payment due or at least put the payment in the payment due column so I could tell one statement from the next.
After 1 year it would be difficult to remember the due date. I guess it would be bad practice to remind someone to pay before the due date.
I think they plan on customers forgetting to pay on time and then can legally make them pay per the contract. I tried calling them to see if they could accept a payment 1 day late as they we not available on New Years Eve or New Years Day to discuss payments.
With this practice I don't think I will do business with any company that uses HRS as credit.
