I got a call at my parents house from a man named Adrian Jones. He said he was from the Government Grant Information Center and that I had been approved for an $8000 government grant. I am a naive college student, desperate for money, so I was excited. I went through the call... Until he asked for my bank account number and said that I would have to pay $275 as a one time processing fee. I told him I was not comfortable giving my bank account number over the phone, but he continued to pressure me until I rattled off some numbers to him. I knew then that I was being scammed. I went online immediately and did a google search on the company and turned up this website and a scam report on the very same company. I tried to terminate the call, but they called back TWICE! Finally, my mother got on the phone and saved me. However, now I have to close my checking account to make sure that they don't take my money anyway. Be careful! I'd hate for this to happen to someone else!
