I have had this credit card for a month.in a month I've been able to use it once or twice and then each time I had to call to make sure it was activated or "not on hold".
I made my first payment and tried to use it a week later and couldn't I called over the weekend to get it resolved and could not get a live person or even an automated one. I would put in my account number and kept saying invlaid. I put in my social security # and it said in valid.
I called on Monday and spoke to someone about the problem and they said they had a hold on it again and it would be removed in 24 to 48 hours. I asked why the hold and said that the payoff of my credit card was thought to be a mistake.
I asked have the hold removed and spoke to a manager and she removed the hold or so she said.
I called back again and then was told they could speak to me about my account until they could verify who I was. This was the same person I had just spoke to. They asked I fax them ID, social security card, birth certificate and marriage license to prove who I was.
I called back again and they blocked my account so I couldn't call back. I sent them a letter demanding that my account be closed and they didn't return my calls.
I contacted them again the next day and they begged and pleaded that I not close the account. I closed it and they told me that I now have maintenance fees of $6 for two days of trying to close it. They say they removed those fees but I'll wait to see what happens. I will stick with my first premier bank credit card @ 9.99% interest. These guys were a joke and after 6 hours of talking on the phone I would never use them again. And half the time I couldn't understand their broken english.
