I have had the total visa card from plains commerce bank for 11 months now and thought everything was going great until I started trying to buy a house. When the mortgage broker ran my trw he found that I had been 30 or more days past due with plains commerce bank back in december.
The only problem was I had never been late with my payments. There was no reason to be since the minimum payment was only $20. I had paid $100 dollars in the end of november, via western union, on my account which made it to my card for my use within 2 days however they reported that I did not pay until january.
Lucky for me I keep a record of all western union transactions because they refused to change their error and/or send a letter to my mortgage broker so that my credit rating could be updated.
