I would like to report internation candle corporation for being fraudulent and misleading. I have invested approximately 25,000.00 with them for 45 locations. I hired location tech to get my locations and only had 26 location actually placed. It was because icc never sent the candles until 2 months later. All the locations started changing their minds. ICC would not answer my calls nor my e-mails. I was very scared about what I had gotten myself into. ICC lied about selling exclusive areas and about average sales of candles and also lied about the average price we could get out of the candles. These candles were cheap low budget candles you could get at a 99 cent store.
I then get a phone call from another woman in my neighborhood who was also sold 45 locations in "MY" SO CALLED EXCLUSIVE AREA. We were both very upset. Most of my candles were votives and tapers which I was told I would not be sent that many of for my initial $20,000.00 order. After they recieved my money orders... I kid you not... I never heard from them. I e-mailed and called and called and e-mailed. They would only respond if I wrote a nice one. The ones about the cold hard facts about my locations cancelling due to getting my candles 2 months late, were with no response. I finally got the candles the day before Thanksgiving... And still had nothing set up for the holidays. I didn't even get so much as a phone call. Much less an explanation or an apology.
I am a single mom and have since September of ordering have only made about 200.00 back. These candles are a joke. I can bearly give them away. It was very time consuming setting up and now they want me to remove them from their store. Please do not get sucked into this scam. I never got a penny back from location tech either.
