Like you guys i also got a call from a girl name chris and told me that i was approved for a credit card with a credit limit of $2500 but a $299 activation fee is required. What i did was i checked the company in the internet and what i found was this rip-off site and read all the reports regarding that company. So, what did was i cancelled my application when someone called me regarding the verification of the card. The only problem i'd already gave my checking account number. But as of now, they haven't took any money (and i hope they won't) from my account. My question is, is calling them that i don't wanna continue the credit card is enough to not take money from my account? I hope someone can help me!
