I am one of the lucky ones who found out about this scam the day it happend to me, thanks to my friend up in CT who this already happend to. They promised her a trip to hawaii with the card and just ended up taking $350.00 from her, the same amount they tried taking from me.
I am also lucky that i only have a temporary account and that i have a cousin that works at my bank. Tell everyone, especially anyone who has no credit like i did, to keep track of every company they signed up for and to not ever give out their checking account numbers. This is a screwed up world and anyone would do anything for a dollar, which is sad, so everyone be careful out there.
