I have now been charged two late payment charges dishonestly! This company is very scandilous about this. I was originally with another credit card and it was changed to Emerge without any notification and I have had nothing but problems since then.
The first charge claims that I made a late payment although it is on the same statement as a credit that is dated well before the due date AND well over the minimum payment amount.
The second charge claims the payment was made a day after it was due when I know for a fact that it was made via the internet on the day it was due (I have a bank statement to back this up!)
I have not checked yet, but I have no doubt in my mind that this has also gone on my credit.
I have cancelled my account because of these dishonest practices. When I attempted to contact customer service they ran me in circles, answered questions I never asked, and never actually addressed this issue. Then they sent an email saying they would get back to me in 10 days, yet I never heard back from them!
