Homecomings Financial
Rippoff! I got ripped off and ruined!

I think i got ripped off and ruined... But you tell me. I also have homecomings. And last november we were having it a little ruough so i called them to tell them we might be late on a payment im not talking weeks or even a month. Well they were so nice and helpful telling me that they do a one time thing for every customer where you can skip two payments then start paying again. But your payment is raised about 175.00 more dollars a month until those two payments are made up

Well i was desperate so i said yes... Well my payment went from 603.00 to 781.50... And i had to pay that for 10 months straight. Well after that the first thing they did to me was it was automatically taken out the first of everymonth. Well they decided to take it out a few days early and my husband s check hadnt been deposited so they not only cause me a bounce fee but a return fee. When i called to dicuss it with them all they would say was that they do that sometimes if the first is on a sunday they take it out on the friday instead i tried to explain that none of this was mentioned but they told me thats all i can tell you. Well they didnt even offer to take care of the charges for something that was clearly their fault. So i decided to refinance with a different company... Well when the other company looked up my credit report they said that our company was reporting that our payment was late every month.

I said "it cant be its automatically taken out every month". Well once again i called them amd their excuse was that everything is computerized so the computer will automatically report my payments as being late untill the two payments they let me skip are caught up. And i said " your telling me my payment is going to be reported late for the next ten months" and they said yes and i said the same phrase again that i was coming to know so well "but nobody told me this"..."how am i supposed to get refinanced if im being reported late and they said i could use my statements proving that i had made my payments every month. But every place and beleive me i have talked to about 30 or 40 have told me they cant refinance me because even if i have proof they have to go by my credit report.

Well i figured there wasnt anything i could do so i have paid my payments untill the ten months was up. So i call them when the ten months was up and said i was calling to confirm that my payments were going to go back down and they said "yes they are but only down to663.00 a month and i said why? My payments were 603.00 they told me "well another agreement was started about three months ago and you have to pay 663.00 a month for the next three months. And heres my famous quote "but nobody told me this" well she also told me my payment was not going to be automatically taken out any more that i would have to call and give a check over the phone for the next three payments then i could start mailing them in again. Well the next thing i know i get a bounce notice from my bank saying they tried to get a payment but there wasnt enough in my account to cover it then i get a notice from homecomings charging me 40.00 dollars for return fees because they tried to send it through twice... I also have insurance trough them an escrow..

Well now they suddenly along with the 663.00 payment send a statement for 766.47 for insurance saying that the insurance was paid on my behalf in advance and now that and my payment are all due dec first... How so close to christmas is anyone expected to come up with 1449.21... Or lose my home what am i supposed to do im at and end... If anyone can help me please do. Give me a phone number email address whatever you can of an attorney that you think would think that i have a case.."i dont want to sue them for money i just want to find a way to keep my home...
