University Edge Apartments and Southern Management Systems are horrible. I pulled a credit report for a house refi. I have a debt listed for over 6000$ for renting from this apt. I own a home, and a rental home, WHY WOULD I RENT AN APARTMENT FOR STUDENTS (I am 50)
Calls to Southern Management and reports filed with my credit reporting agency were the same. I filed two reports to receive a letter stating "we have determined you owe this debt."
I am considering hiring an attorney to deal with them. Don't even try calling or dealing with SM yourself.
AND for heaven's sake, do not rent from University Edge Apartments in Hattiesburg serving University Southern MS students.
I went to the apartments, met and talked with several individuals coming and going. THey are all unhappy, trying to move but can't sublet - AFTER being told they could.
All also said all that selling crap about "roommate matching" "if you change your mind we have a waiting list" is all BS These people should be stopped. I don't know how they sleep at night!
Students and parents beware-stay away.
