I've been a fan of L'Oreal products for some time, especially the Feria color line. I've used the Chocolate Cherry consistently throughout the years and have always been happy with it. I saw the new EverPure shampoo line at the store and thought I'd try it out as a companion to my Feria color. I did feel the $7 price point was a bit high, but was willing to pay a bit extra for a great product.
I am extremely disappointed in the product. It left my hair coarse and bristly. I have fine, thin, hair and have never seen it react this way to a color-safe shampoo. Also, storing the bottle upright caused 25%of the product to leak out into my shower (I checked—the lid was on tightly). To remedy the problem, I stored it on its side—still more leakage. I now have paid $7 for half a bottle of substandard product, and am very displeased. I would love a refund or coupons for Feria or L'Oreal foundation in an equivalent amount. However unhappy I am with the shampoo, I am giving L'Oreal a chance to make this right with a very loyal customer and do plan to continue purchasing Feria in the future.
